Walk and Work Foundation, Inc. was officially started in 2009 with the aim of reaching out to patients and clients who sustained various disabilities due to sickness, congenital deformities, and accidents.
For the Center as an institution, income-generating scheme will be developed in the form of an integrated approach. The Walk and Work Foundation, Inc. will restore the self-confidence of PWD’s and prevent progressive disabilities in children by providing them quality medical assistance prostheses, develop their skills, and access to Physiotherapy. The foundation will also initiate projects and other self-transforming programs in order to enable PWD’s become responsible members of society.
Accessibility in countries like the Philippines is an important factor in improving the living conditions of Persons with Disabilities (PWD). By helping PWD’s through access to high-quality medical care (Surgery and Physiotherapy) and prosthesis, they will be able to have a better future. The foundation is devoted to helping PWD’s to be able to walk and find work and make them responsible and productive members of society.
Our purpose at Walk and Work Foundation, Inc. is primarily to meet the needs of children and youth with disabilities, give them the right to bring back their self-worth and self-confidence, and live a happy life.
To uplift/independently the welfare of Children/Youth with Disabilities (PWD’s) to be fulfilled, providing them a high-quality assistive device, as well as for the parents and guardians to train them on how to take good care of their children with special needs, providing them proper health assistance like home management program as well.

Orthosis is an external appliance motion or to transfer load from one area of the body to another.
Physical therapy is a form of licensed profession aimed at restoring physical function of patients with disability or impairment as well educating them of their said condition.
Physical therapist are movement experts who improve quality of life through prescribed exercise, hands-on care, and patient education. Examine each person and then develops a treatment plan to improve their ability to move, reduce or manage pain, restore function, and prevent disability.
Orthopedic Surgeons are medical specialists who perform surgery to correct problems that arise in the skeleton, supporting ligaments and muscles. Orthopedic consultations includes observing your general capacity to move around in certain positions such as walking, sitting, standing, climbing stairs, bending forward and backward, etc., most likely includes a comprehensive medical history evaluation, diagnostic imaging (X-rays and/or MRI), and physical tests.
Registered Social Worker range of public services intended to provide support and assistance towards particular groups, activity aiming to promote the welfare of others and provide assistance includes counseling and care for children in neglectful or abusive situations.
